LPFC Annual Dinner Review...

The LPFC Annual Dinner took place on Friday 10th July and, remarkably, was almost 100% scandal free. A great time was had by all, with funds raised for the club from a raffle, a five-pound-note-in-a-tin game and a kind donation from the cricket club to complete a great evening. Thanks go to Coniston Hall for having us (but not for charging us £4 a beer...cheers for that!), all sponsors of the awards and donators of raffle prizes and for everyone who turned out to show their support.

As well as eating and dancing, it was the time for the end of season awards to be handed out, a run down of what was dished out on the evening is as follows:

Most Improved Player: Josh Marshall

Top Scorer: Mick Snape

Matthew Kelly Award For Most Man of The Matches: Matt Sharpe

Heathcote Antiques Perpetual Players' Player of the Year: James Rodgers

Heathcote Antiques Picture of a Tractor and Sheepdogs for Hottest WAG: Nicola Turner

Photos of the evening can be browsed here - if you'd like to contribute your own snaps, please email them to longprestonfc@googlemail.com and they'll get whacked up.
